Washington DC, in the US, has long been a source of both world-altering news and stunning controversy. But the pace at which the news and the controversies are flowing has definitely accelerated since the shock election of President Donald Trump in late 2016. Keeping up with both is probably as taxing for the occupants of the US Capitol building (pictured) as it is for the rest of us.
