A new set of self-contained, radial, telescoping conveyor models with onboard power, has been introduced.
The self-contained TeleStacker Conveyors from Superior Industries are equipped with 96 kW Cat 4.4 Tier 4 Final engines and are designed in 914 mm belt widths and fully-extended operating lengths of 34 m, 40 m and 46 m, with options for the manufacture of models with custom widths and lengths.
Additional standard features of the conveyor include:
- XTP swing axles
- Hydraulic drives for the main and stinger conveyors
- Superior-brand idlers and pulleys and an onboard counterweight
- Options for adaptions to suit specific environments
US-based Superior Industries indicates that the most popular applications for its new models will be remote quarrying and mining sites, where access to permanent electrical power transmission is not practical.
The bulk material processing and handling systems manufacturer and supplier produced its first mobile, road-portable conveyor in 1997 and asserts that it continues to develop the telescoping radial stacking technology to deliver cost-efficient material handling solutions that boost stockpile volumes and loading capacities, while also preventing material segregation and additional materials handling, and eliminating costly loader and haul truck usage.
