Is pleased to announce that Dassault Systems SOLIDWORKS has donated full commercial SOLIDWORKS licenses to the business incubator.
SAREBI’s business model centres around a full-service incubation package that is based on mentoring & coaching, operational support, facilitation, networking, and advisory services. In addition, incubatees have access to the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) that supports the development of manufacturing capacity from prototype to manufacturing at scale. Incubatees have the option of locating at the centre in Atlantis or working from their own premises as virtual incubatees while retaining access to the full suite of
services.
This space is equipped with a variety of industrial manufacturing tools which are often not available to smaller entrepreneurs. The MTC enables the SME to transition to a higher level of locally manufactured content. Research and development (R&D) on product development is key to the increase in local content. Incubatees have access to the facilities specifically to help reduce the cost of R&D as well as testing for quality compliance.
SOLIDWORKS is one of the most intuitive CAD programs for 3D design on the market. SolidWorks develops and/or distributes software tools that allow users to create, simulate, publish, and manage their data. The easy user interface comes from the software company’s understanding of the designer’s specific application.
Whether for education, rapid prototyping, design consulting or industrial product development, the user interface speeds up the design process. Advanced features of SOLIDWORKS software include Stress analysis testing, Plastics fill testing, Flow analysis and Photo Realistic rendering tools.
Entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to attend the SOLIDWORKS reseller MECAD Systems workshops and engage with industry experts. In addition to this, SOLIDWORKS will run the entrepreneurship program for qualifying start-ups to receive their own FREE copy of SOLIDWORKS and get access to Design, Simulation and Rendering tools for the first year.
