A range of ribbed material manufactured from durable, impact- and scratch-resistant material, is now available.
The new range of ribbed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) strip curtains is suitable for heavy-duty and high traffic applications.
PVC strip curtains, also known as strip doors, can be used to create flexible, safe, energy-saving doorways and partitions that aim to protect goods and facilitate traffic flow.
The new range of strip curtains from Maxiflex is available in the following options:
- Standard clear PVC strip, suited for indoor and outdoor areas that require high visibility
- Transparent red PVC strip, for safety and decorative requirements
- Polar clear PVC strip with break-, crack- and chemical-resistant properties, for internal and external applications and temperature extremes of -25 °C to 30 °C.
The company also offers a range of welding and anti-insect curtains. The welding PVC strip is fire-proof and designed to protect operators during the welding process. It complies with international standards and regulations for health and safety in welding.
The anti-insect PVC material is used in areas that require high levels of hygiene standards, such as in the food industry. It is recommended by the World Health Organisation as safe for humans and the repulsive agent deters flying insects such as fruit flies and mosquitoes, making it suitable for use in fruit packing houses and malaria risk areas.
The company’s range of strip curtains is designed to cater for areas of light, medium and heavy pedestrian and motorised traffic in cold storage, freezer, warehousing, manufacturing and welding environments.
