Riverbed technology, the leader in application performance infrastructure, is set to host riverbed force and riverbed partner connect in Johannesburg on the 20th April, 2016. The conference, targeted at end-users and the channel respectively, will follow a common theme of ‘Maximizing application performance’. The sessions will address, from both business and technical perspectives, how to manage the challenges of end-to-end Optimization, visibility and control in hybrid it networks. The emerging trend of SD-WAN will also be introduced and extensively discussed during the event.

As a combination of two events – riverbed force and riverbed partner connect – the day will be split into two segments with end-user focused sessions being conducted in the first half and the partner event held in the latter half of the day. Featuring presentations by local and international experts, riverbed force and riverbed partner connect will comprise of a range of talks from top technical riverbed personnel showcasing the riverbed platform and its next-generation architecture of software-defined networking solutions. Leading partners will also update attendees on the trends and technologies impacting and transforming enterprises in this digital age.
Close to 80 business and technology decision makers including CXOS, it directors and it managers, as well as technical professionals such as network admins, storage architects and enterprise architects are expected to attend riverbed force, while riverbed partner connect will draw in both new and existing channel partners.
Commenting on the channel focused portion of the event, van Rensburg said, “we remain 100% channel driven so the Enablement and education of our channel through such events is vital to our success. By attending the event, Resellers and integrators will be rapidly brought up to speed with the riverbed application performance platform™, and learn how to position riverbed to their customers and cross-sell our solutions.
