Compressed air and gas solutions manufacturer CompAir, which is part of Gardner Denver Group, is launching a new DLT0705 range of portable compressors with a Stage 3B emissions-compliant engine.
The DLT0705 is being upgraded to the latest emission compliance regulations. This range includes models from 180 cfm to 270 cfm at operating pressures from 5 bar to 14 bar.
Designed for a wide range of applications in the general construction, agriculture and materials handling markets, the new DLT0705 compressor range provides fuel savings of up to 10% and an overall specific energy improvement of 7% to 8%, compared with its predecessor model.
The compressor range features Japanese diesel engine manufacturer Yanmar’s 4TNV98CT engine, which is a vertical cylinder, four-cycle, water-cooled diesel engine with direct injection and electronic regulation, producing 53.7 kW maximum output at 2 500 rpm.
The system features a standard diesel particulate filter and is equipped with the new GD-4 Airend, providing a free air delivery of 7.4 m3/min at the rated speed.
The new compressor also optimises the original light weight and quiet design of this range, with a 1 200 kg towable weight, and low noise level of 98 dBa sound pressure.
Commenting on the launch, Gardner Denver sales manager James Waldron notes that this new compressor strengthens its relationship with Yanmar and provides customers with a European Union (EU) emissions-compliant, portable compressor that offers very good fuel efficiency and an excellent free air delivery rating.
Waldron indicates that the Gardner Denver portable compressor range now has both EU emission and nonemission variants suitable for other markets, all developed on the same modular design and a common machine platform. This provides optimum manufacturing efficiency, helping to deliver a very competitive range.
“This latest launch further improves our market position, as Gardner Denver (CompAir) strives for a full range of emissions-compliant, diesel-engine-driven mobile compressors for EU markets,” he concludes.
