Diversified industrial products manufacturer Eaton’s new line of multibag filter housing offers effective solutions for a variety of filtration applications for industries such as automotive, pulp and paper, paints, coatings and chemicals, and industrial water where a code stamp is not needed.
The company launched the PROLINE 150 Series HE multibag filter housing in October, which features a low profile design with side inlet and tangential outlet that provides easy and full drainage and reduces housing height to make filter bag change-outs easier. The housing system is offered in 3, 4, 6 and 8 bag configurations and come standard with filter bag size 02 stainless steel restrainer baskets.
“This product is a prime example of Eaton’s commitment to provide our customers with innovative filtration solutions in line with maintaining a strong competitive advantage. “We continually look for ways to improve our filtration product technology and delivery time to keep our customers at the forefront of their industries,” says Eaton filtration division VP Mary Jo Surges.
Eaton’s development of the PROLINE 150 Series multibag vessel took into consideration the total life cycle costs as well as its commitment to sustainability. As a result, the housing is available in 304 stainless steel, which is 100 % recyclable when service life is complete. The products, moreover, undergo rigorous in-house testing to meet Eaton’s high- quality standards and good engineering practices and the company highlights that it is among the most competitively priced multibag filter housing vessels available on the market.
The PROLINE 150 Series also features a counterbalanced, spring-assisted cover lifting mechanism that allows for quick and easy opening of even large covers, as well as a positive O-ring sealing that provides bypass-free filtration. The unique three-point hold down ensures a high-quality seal between each filter bag and the housing body, while flanged inlet and outlet ports provide a side inlet and tangential outlet configuration. Heavy-duty stainless steel mounting legs are also included in the design.
Eaton’s filtration division is a global leader in liquid filtration, assisting companies to improve product quality, increase manufacturing efficiency, protect employees and equipment and achieve sustainability goals. Eaton’s filtration products are manufactured and sold globally, including in South Africa.
