Minister Jeff Radebe, Minister of The Presidency, will be speaking on the opening day at Machine Tools Africa, a trade exhibition taking place at the Expo Centre in Johannesburg from 9-12 May. Minister Radebe will discuss the National Development Plan and its impact on the SA manufacturing sector, especially the SA tooling market.
Minister Redebe’s speech will form part of a seminar series hosted by the South African Institution of Mechanical Engineering taking place at Machine Tools Africa. The seminar programme is available online at www.machinetoolsafrica.co.za. CPD points can be earned for attending.

Visitors to Machine Tools Africa will be able to interact with local machine tools suppliers together with their international principals. On view will be the latest products, services and technology that this innovative industry has to offer. Daily machining and cutting demonstrations will bring the showcase alive.
The exhibition is a Machine Tools Merchants’ Association of South Africa (MTMA) event, organised by Specialised Exhibitions Montgomery, a member of the prestigious Montgomery Group.
Machine Tools Africa enjoys support from the South African Capital Equipment Export Council (SACEEC), the Italian-South Africa Chamber of Trade and Industries (Italcham), and the Society for Automation, Instrumentation, Measurement and Control (SAIMC).
