A new line of surface mounted, threaded stud (SMTS) miniature resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensors has been launched.
The units are particularly suitable for applications that require a temperature sensor to be installed in confined spaces.
Made in the US, the Surface Mount Threaded Stud Thermocouple Sensor (SMTS-TC) sensor is part of Harold G. Schaevitz Industries’ range of products and the company states that the sensor delivers high performance temperature measurements, reliably and consistently.
Available with a PT100 Class A element, the sensor has a temperature range of -45 °C to 260 °C and a 316 stainless steel hex fitting for durability.
Specifications
- Thermocouple type: Type K
- Accuracy: Special limits of error (+/- 0.4% of reading)
- Operating temperature range: -70 °C to 260 °C
- Fitting housing material is 316 stainless steel
- #8-32 UNC 2A male thread
- 30 AWG FEP insulated conductors, stranded
