Mining equipment manufacturer Metso and steel fabricator Betterect showcased the 50-m-diameter high-rate thickener they made for a mining client at Betterect's premises. Schalk burger has the story.

The large thickener is a bolted-design that was built to reduce construction on site for the client. It will be taken to a mining client's premises to be installed. The companies used the showcase of the trial assembly to highlight their capabilities.
