Manufacturing company KHS South Africa, a subsidiary of Germany-based KHS, presented its technology and solutions to 90 local food and beverage companies at the German Technology Symposium, held in Johannesburg, last month.
The symposium, which was the first symposium tailored for the food and beverage processing and packaging industry, was organised by German industry association VDMA and the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
KHS South Africa took the chance to once again present its full product range to the local market, which includes the Innosept ACF, which is designed for full aseptic filling processes for the beverage and dairy industry. The KHS range also includes all necessary filling machines for the beverage, food and nonfood packaging sectors, starting with its Innopro Corvus, designed for beer filtration, and the Innopro Ecostab B, which is an automatic PVPP beer stabilising system for small and medium-sized breweries, up to the fully automatic palletising system Innopal.
KHS South Africa MD Joerg Thomas says that the company expects, with their innovative product range, to further strengthen local market share as KHS Group is one of the leading manufacturers of innovative filling and packaging systems serving all major clients in the beverage, food and non-food industries worldwide.
Locally, KHS South Africa, registered as a local company since 1971, commissioned a glass filling and packaging line for an Anheuser-Busch InBev South African Breweries brewery in Rosslyn, Gauteng, which is producing all beer brands.
