With the t-bend tube bending machines from engineering company Transfluid, it is possible to bend tubes in multiple dimensions and automatically.
The highly efficient computer numerical control (CNC) technology ensures precision with all bending tasks, whether small or big.
The fully automated t-bend solutions deliver ideal cycle times and big production volumes without problems, explains Transfluid MD Stefanie Flaeper.
“The flexibility of our advanced CNC tube bending machines make it possible to have bending processes that are economical. Our machines fulfil the toughest demands.”
In addition, Transfluid has adapted and expanded the range of machine sizes and tubes sizes that the machines can handle to satisfy the different needs of its customers.
“We can offer the solution that is the best fit for each requirement. The expansion of the range creates even more versatile and flexible options for tube bending for all our customers and markets,” she says.
Further, the bending machine with mandrel and servo electric control delivers additional efficiency.
The electric axes can be programmed to operate in synchronicity to ensure the best cycle times.
“Tools for bending on multiple levels with automated tool change allow bending of different radii and even the most extreme geometries on a tube”, she says.
Flaeper adds that, the valued clockwise or counter-clockwise bending machines from Transfluid produce complex bends with precision and dimensional accuracy. The machines are also available in the earlier familiar sizes.
Individualised equipment options mean optimised and personalised tube bending possibilities that include bending on multiple levels, free-form processing of large bending radii, and cutting during the bending process.
A centre line booster and systems for automated loading and unloading can also be added to the machines.
Further, the machines can easily be included in a complete production process chain; with the optional t project software the bending processes are safe and without collisions. Full bending simulations help to establish bending and process data in a reliable way, she notes.
Special boxes are the complete series which includes single-head bending machines and machines for bending clockwise or counter clockwise which come in their respective diameter ranges.
The single-head bending machines range from the DB 415-CNC machine to the DB 40150-CNC machine with diameters from 6 mm to 22 mm and 20 mm to 150 mm, respectively.
The clockwise or counter-clockwise bending machines range from the DB 622-CNC-R/L machine to the DB 2060-CNC-R/L machine with diameters from 6 mm to 22 mm and 6 mm to 60 mm, respectively.
