Gold miner Ramelius Resources on Tuesday announced the resignation of long-standing COO Duncan Coutts, who will leave the company in early December to pursue other opportunities.
MD Mark Zeptner said Coutts had played a key role in the operational performance and growth of the company over the past nearly nine years.
“He was instrumental in managing the dynamic business that has been built at Ramelius and we are highly appreciative of his contribution and he leaves the company with our collective best wishes,” said Zeptner.
Ramelius appointed Peter Ganza, who recently joined the company, as acting COO.
Zeptner welcomed Ganza to the team, noting that his operational and project management experience with companies such as Karora, Northern Star, Saracen and Gold Fields had allowed for a seamless transition.
The company will announce a permanent COO in due course.
