Steinmüller Africa offers boilers and burners as a part of its engineering services and designs and manufactures coal-, oil- and gas-fired boilers and pulverised burners at its facility in Pretoria, where individual components of the solutions are made using alloy.
The company highlights that equipment can be manufactured to customer specification, and boilers are designed to maximise boiler efficiency within the typical boiler operating range. Burners can be designed to emit lower carbon dioxide emissions, which the company says puts it at the forefront of international technology for low nitrogen oxide, or NOx, burners.
The company says that the fabrication process of pressure parts and components adheres to international manufacturing codes and standards and that it continues to update welding procedures and qualifications to ensure that production is of the highest quality.
Along with design and manufacturing services, Steinmüller Africa says it conducts comprehensive maintenance for its boilers and burners throughout their lifespan, undertaking short-duration inspection outages approximately 18 months before maintenance outage. Maintenance includes function assessment and the removal and replacement of worn parts.
“We pride ourselves in providing the best boiler and burner solutions and services for power generation, petro-chemical, steel, paper/pulp and sugar and nuclear industries,” notes Steinmüller Africa corporate communications specialist Mpho Muvhango.
