JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – JSE-listed iron-ore major Kumba Iron Ore has appointed two new nonexecutive directors to the board, effective November 1.
In a statement released Monday, Kumba noted that it had appointed Nonkululeko Dlamini full director. Dlamini is the shareholder representative of the Industrial Development Corporation.
Seamus French is being appointed alternate director to Natascha Viljoen and Andile Sangqu, the current Anglo American representatives on the board.
“On behalf of the entire board, we welcome both Dlamini and French and we look forward to their valuable participation in our discussions as we continue to build Kumba’s resilience as a business for the benefit of all its stakeholders,” said chairperson Fani Titi.
