Concrete products manufacturer Inca Concrete Products has admitted to contravening the Competition Act and agreed to pay a penalty of R800 000 in this regard, the Competition Tribunal reported this week.
The tribunal on Wednesday heard the case relating to Inca’s role in colluding with competitors on allocating concrete and masonry product customers, agreeing on prices and allocating markets.
The Competition Tribunal said it would issue its decision on this matter in due course.
