CAPE TOWN – Glencore said on Friday that it was considering options to take a bigger stake in the Mutanda mine, a copper and cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The global mining company said the announcement to shareholders was being made in response to queries from the media. It said it would make an announcement “in due course … if appropriate”.
