PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Junior GBM Resources has reported a 77% increase in the gold resource at its Glen Eva gold deposit, which forms part of the greater Mt Coolon project, in Queensland.
Following a remodelling of the resource estimate, the Glen Eva deposit is estimated to host about 0.9-million tonnes, grading 2.2 g/t gold for an estimated 66 000 oz of gold.
The global Mt Coolan gold resource is estimated to contain some 343 000 oz of gold.
Meanwhile, the ASX-listed company has flagged the potential to extend the Glen Eva resource along strike and down dip.
