TSX-V- and ASX-listed Euro Manganese has appointed CFO Martina Blahova as its interim CEO to replace Matthew James, who had resigned from the company.
The board will conduct a search for a new CEO.
In a statement, Euro Manganese chairperson John Webster said that the board had full confidence in Blahova as interim CEO, stating that she had the “breadth of experience and knowledge to navigate current market conditions”.
The company also appointed Dean Larocque as CFO to succeed Blahova.
“A seasoned financial and accounting executive with a long history of working with companies like Euro Manganese, we are confident that he will be an invaluable addition to the team,” stated Webster.
The company is advancing development of the Chvaletice manganese project in the Czech Republic, which is a unique waste-to-value recycling and remediation opportunity involving refining old tailings from a decommissioned mine.
