PERTH (miningweekly.com) – Gold developer Gascoyne Resources has awarded a A$66.5-million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to GR Engineering Services at the Dalgaranga project, in Western Australia.
GR Engineering has already started with the design and construction of a 2.5-million-tonne-a-year mineral processing plant and associated infrastructure required for the project.
The openpit operation is expected to deliver 623 000 oz of gold over a six-year mine life, with ore commissioning expected to start in the second quarter of 2018.
