JOHANNESBURG (miningweeky.com) – Ian Rozier is stepping down as CEO and president of Eastern Platinum (Eastplats), but will remain a director of the company.
He was succeeded by chairperson David Cohen, effective January 31.
“Ian has led Eastplats since its inception in 2003. With the extreme challenges currently faced by the platinum group metals industry, Eastplats has maintained its asset base and proactively protected its balance sheet,” Cohen explained.
Rozier would remain on the board to assist with ongoing South African matters.
