A Johannesburg-based specialised, accredited repair and remanufacturing services company asserts that it has the capacity to ensure fast turnaround times for the repair of diesel fuel injection machines.
Reef Fuel Injection Services states that it is the only workshop in South Africa that is authorised to repair and remanufacture the injection system on the Komatsu 785 dump truck and that it can also fully remanufacture both the high-pressure diesel pump and injector of Komatsu 6D170 engines.
The company explains that its access to readily-available parts eliminates waiting periods for imported componentry, which in turn contributes to its fast turnaround times to put machines back to work. It further outlines that its in-stock range of new and remanufactured common rail injectors meant that it was not affected by a recent disruption in the supply chain as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Specialised equipment allows Reef Fuel Injection Services to conduct detailed tests and give customers accurate reports on the complete diesel fuel injection system. In addition, the company’s field service can attend to on-site fuel injection related issues.
With the use of Bosch and Hartridge original-equipment manufacturer authorised equipment for testing and calibration, the company uses technology to generate reports on most electronic parts, and is able to share this data with customers.
The company highlights key benefits to its customers as improved uptime and reliability of the finished product.
