JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – TSX-V-listed Diamcor Mining expects to have four additional boreholes at its Krone-Endora at Venetia project, in South Africa’s Limpopo province, completed by the end of the June quarter.
This followed the award, last month, of a 15-year water-use licence, granting the company permission to extract 410 148 m3/y of water from seven boreholes.
The water resources would enable the company to increase the processing of all size fractions of material up to 45 mm to test and evaluate the full targeted design capacity of the mine’s facilities and to compile data to assist the company in making its initial production decision.
