JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – The sixth rough diamond sales cycle of 2016 has netted diamond giant De Beers about $520-million.
This is lower than the $564-million of sales recorded in the fifth sales cycle of the year.
“This is an encouraging sales performance for this point in the year, supported by positive sentiment from our customers. We maintain a cautious outlook for the remainder of 2016,” said CEO Bruce Cleaver.
