Safety equipment supplier Heightec announced the opening of its new London Height Safety Centre.
The new regional centre based near Wembley in London opened on July 26 with courses available to book online now.
The centre is a premier training venue boasting an array of diverse purpose built training structures for the delivery of height safety and rescue training. The increased height and larger floor area allow for greater flexibility and options for practical training in realistic environments, the company explains.
“By combining a balanced mix of practical and classroom based training, with our high standard of training delivery, we ensure our customers become competent in their respective activity and achieve their training objectives.
“Our portfolio of courses is tailored towards a range of specialist industries such as construction, telecoms, rope access, emergency services and facilities management among others,” states the company.
In addition, the floor area is over 371.6 m² and the centre structures include interior flat roofs, internal 11 m lattice tower, high internal walls, walkways or high platforms, internal scaffolds or suspended lifting beams, telecoms rigging dishes and antennae and vertical ladders with a variety of fixed protection systems.
The company is an accredited training provider of Industrial Rope Access Trade Association, Global Wind Organisation, Mast & Tower Safety Group and Arqiva approved.
Further, the new centre is conveniently located close to North Wembley tube station, with the nearest hotel just over 1.6 km away. The site also offers some free parking for those travelling by car.
Heightec explains that the opening of its London centre brings its network of national training centres back up to full strength with training centres based in Aberdeen, Kendal, Leeds, Birmingham and London in the UK.
“We are scheduling courses that can be booked online now, however, they are booking up fast in anticipation of the centre opening. More courses will be scheduled as soon as possible.”
