JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Coal junior Coal of Africa Limited (CoAL) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Shangren Ding as nonexecutive director, effective October 11.
The 54-year-old professional engineer has extensive operational coal mining experience in chief operating roles at a number of mines in the Heilongjiang province, in China.
Ding has previously worked for a number of mining and energy companies, as well as acting as a consultant to government geological bureaus.
