JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – An AngloGold Ashanti employee was fatally injured following a seismic-related incident at the Mponeng mine, near Carletonville, on Thursday.
Senior inspectors of the Department of Mineral Resources and Mponeng mine management conducted an on-site inspection and agreed remedial actions had been initiated.
