An aircraft had to make an emergency landing next to the N1 highway near Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria, on Monday morning, Tshwane emergency services said.
"It was basically an emergency landing next to the freeway close to Hammanskraal, but nobody was injured," spokesperson Johan Pieterse said.

The plane had two occupants.
