State-owned Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has confirmed that all inbound and outbound flights at King Phalo Airport, in East London, have been postponed as a result of adverse weather conditions, until further notice.
"The weather conditions will be monitored throughout the day, and should conditions allow for optimal safe flight operations, normal operations will resume. Passengers are encouraged to continuously check flight information updates on the ACSA App and directly with the airlines," the company states.
This is the second time in a month that ACSA has had to cancel or delay flights at the airport owing to adverse weather conditions.
