Since March the Hydra-Arc Group received three major international awards as recognition of their excellence in quality. Hydra Arc (Pty) Ltd won the Europe Business Assembly’s prestigious international prize The Highest Hallmark on 22 March.
This award recognizes effective business activities and recognises a business’ excellent reputation, effective management and constant growth. The award was presented at the International Achievements Forum held by Europe Business Assembly in the Institute of Directors, London, UK. The Institute of Directors has long been recognised as an influential and respected membership organisation in the UK. With more than 100 years' success, the IoD is a valued location for its members who include the most skilled and experienced business leaders in the world, representing the full business spectrum, from start-up entrepreneurs to directors in the public sector and CEOs of multinational organisations.
The World Business Assembly Conference of Leaders and the Socrates Award Ceremony, 2016, took place on 26 and 27 March, 2016 in Hotel Claris Grand Luxe Barcelona. Participants from more than 15 countries attended the event. Hydra Arc’s, Jose Maciel, at this event received the Golden European Award for Quality and Business Prestige in the Specialized Welding and Fabrication sphere. Like each year, the competition was fierce and all awardees have shown great dedication to and excellence in their fields of work. The World Business Assembly Conference of Leaders featured also workshops and presentations that were held by experts and specialists.
This Secunda-based company received its third award on 4 April in Berlyn, Germany at The Other Ways International Majestic 5 Continents Awards for quality and excellence.
Founded in 1988 by José Maciel, Hydra Arc combines the latest technology with the best welding skills on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, chrome and nickel.
In 2005 Hydra Arc expanded again into MEIP Construction projects. As the business grew, it became necessary to separate the different divisions into separate companies, to allow each to focus and grow within the group.
The Hydra Arc group provides project management, procurement, fabrication, maintenance and related services to clients in the petro-chemical industry. The company proved Quality is a core corporate value and have received international recognition for their quality in the form of awards in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. With the three latest awards, the Hydra Arc Group’s Awards Cabinet is now boasting 19 internationally acclaimed trophies.
