Preparations for the next European Coatings Show in Germany are already under way and will take place from April 4 to 6, next year.
Engineers, developers and decision-makers will once again find an unrivalled range of raw materials and laboratory, production, testing and measuring technology for the paint, varnish and coatings industry at the show.
The event once more set new benchmarks last year by welcoming 1 024 exhibitors from 42 countries and 28 481 visitors from 107 countries. In May last year, the European Coatings Show reinforced its importance as the leading international fair for the manufacturing of high-quality paints and coatings, sealing compounds, construction chemicals and adhesives. The main topics of conversation at the exhibition stands were protecting the environment, conserving resources and the functionality of coatings.
Exhibitors who act quickly can still benefit from the very favourable early booking rates until mid-July 2016. The semi-concurrent congress will also take place alongside the exhibition at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg which starts on April 3 next year. It will focus on industry trends, such as environmental protection and efficient use of resources or functional coating solutions.
Meanwhile, the wait until the next European Coatings Show was made a little bit easier, owing to the European Coatings Show Reloaded, a virtual event that brought exhibitors and interested users together on May 11, last year.
The second round of the European Coatings Show Reloaded, an interactive online platform held at the halfway point between the biennial fairs for the paint and coatings industry, was an impressive event, with 900 participants from 46 countries, using the online platform to obtain information about innovations in the coatings sector.
High-calibre speakers explored trends, while numerous exhibitors from the European Coatings Show provided details of their latest products.
All exhibitors from the European Coatings Show 2015 were also represented at the virtual event. Compared with the Web premiere in 2014, even more companies actively took part with updated company profiles.
As a result, the European Coatings Show Reloaded offered industry insiders an overview of the current status of the market. The 50 video presentations and an integrated chat function enabled visitors to get exactly the information they needed.
During the Web conference, ten live presentations on topics, such as bio-based and functional coatings, vehicle paints or construction chemicals offered a wealth of professional knowledge and high-calibre expertise. The next European Coatings Show Reloaded will take place in 2018.
Pumps company GA Kiesel MD Jochen Seeber notes that the European Coatings Show offered ideal conditions for the company to present its pumps and pig cleaning technology to an international audience.
“The conversations we had showed once again how important the issues of environmental protection and savings potential are for the paint and coatings industry. “So, for us there is no doubt: the European Coatings Show is a leading industry platform. This is why we have already booked our stand for 2017,” he concludes.
